Lithuania, the only country that hadn’t bid on foreign rights for Bound to Love Her, finally got a clue and is throwing a private jet into the bargain.Got up and read emails. My publisher told me what a delightful guest I was at the chalet, and gave me more good news:
Met
with night-shift research assistant, who talked with teams from
Wikipedia and Google. Both agreed that my request for a separate
division to handle my questions was perfectly reasonable. Google threw
in some stock. Turns out Eric’s wife is a big fan of my elves. Aww…
Plugged
into computer and thought eight chapters. Can’t imagine what I did
before dear Steve Hawking invented that thought-transference USB cable
for me. Of course, it did lead to that flap with the bookstore that
shall not be named, but eventually they built me my own section, so it
all worked out. Must tell bookstore about idea to include a nightly,
elven-themed dinner theater in café. Promotion can never be too big.
Worked
out with personal trainer, got daily massage, and met with chef. To
solve goat-milk brie problem, told chef to get herd of goats and start
with the fermentation already. The chive garden is doing well, isn’t
it? He agreed completely.
Met with architect on tower writing-room plans. I know Libeskind is known for titanium, but it’s so cold.
Talked him into pink granite with a high exterior shine and castle
crenellations. Once he’s paid and gone, will rip out the lighted glass
walls and put in hand-painted climbing-rose wallpaper to go with my
name. Such a good idea of Martha’s, and it will provide jobs for all those sweet girls she met in jail.
Met
Joe in hologram room for a little R&R. What an angel he is to play
elfy games night after night, but after all, it is in the name of research. So handy he was willing to quit his job and grow his hair. It really is beautiful.
Second
daily massage with rose oil. That new anti-aging herbal beverage tastes
fabulous, and who knew it would also make me a natural redhead?! Side
benefit of amazing dreams makes me think I should plug into computer
and dream a fifth series while I sleep. Must ask Steve if he can make a
picture e-book in 3D.
Nighty-night!
What’s your ideal writing day like?
